Chill out on Saturday-Cheap eats- Mater Bowl Chinese Restaurant

Hi buddies. Finally Saturday! Feel burnt out from five days of work or study? Come on, let's get out of the stuffy room and chill out with tasty food; ) Don't worry about checking the balance in your bank account. I am just going to introduce several amazing cheap eats in Sydney. Whether you are a student or backpacker, all of you are worthy a tasty reward on Saturday! Not only in indulgent restaurants could we find fine cuisine. Heaps of great restaurants are serving best food on prices. Let's go for it!
Today's special-Master Bowl Chinese Restaurant
In Australia, you can never feel difficult to find a Chinese restaurant. If you've just been to China Town for authentic Chinese cuisine. I can guarantee you will never get what you want. They are just over priced and definitely not Chinese food at all. This restaurant is located in Chatswood which is very convenient for you to catch a train there.
This restaurant focuses on Sichuan cuisine which is one of the most famous cuisine style in China. Chinese cuisines are generally divided into four styles which are Cantonese cuisine, Jiangsu cuisine, Shangdong cuisine and Sichuan cuisine. They are different from each other in terms of the ingredients and the process of preparation. Sichuan cuisine is original from Sichuan province which is famous for the pungency and spiciness resulting from liberal use of chillies and numb peppers(This kind of food is one of my favorite ; p). However, since I arrived in Sydney, I've never tasted any authentic Sichuan food, neither too plain or too over.
Even though the special dish in this restaurant is Maocai which is a kind of traditional dish in Sichuan Province, similar to hot pot. However, I didn't order that because it is better for more than 2 people to share. Today I just went there by myself so this time I ordered a casserole. They have a series of casseroles from seafood to mushroom for you to choose. All of them are just around $11. I ordered Spicy Mao Xue Wang Casserole.
Mao Xue Wang is a kind of jelly which is made of pork blood. Its texture is just like tofu.
Besides this special food, they also have various ingredients inside such as bean sprouts, Spam meat and pork intestines. Unlike the other Chinese restaurant that you have to order rice separately. Here, if you order any casserole, you can get a bowl of steamed rice for free! And it is just $10.8. Cheap, isn't it! And the taste really reminds me of my traveling experience in Sichuan province.

I went there around 15pm, so it is every quiet there. Only few people around. So it is very quick for me to get my order. Only costs 8 mins! How fast they are! I hate waiting when my stomach is empty. However, the stuffs seemed very tired and bored, they are not very helpful and friendly when I just wanted to check some information about the their food.
But it is clean enough to enjoy a comfortable Saturday special meal though.
