Hey Saturday foodies, it's time to get out to find some tasty reward for ourselves. Are you ready? This week is Korean week, I'll introduce one of my favorite restaurants-YMONE HAEJANGGOOK.
The first time when I went there was my Korean friend's farewell dinner . She introduced this eatery to us. She said it is very famous among Korean community and is always packed. Since it is several months ago, the only memory is that I got so full for just finishing half of my pork bone soup. Today I went there again with another lovely Korean girl ; ). This time I am gonna try something new and taste it carefully. Different form the other Korean eatery, this shop doesn't offer BBQ, it just focus on "soup".

We ordered Ox blood soup with rice, Sundea and vegetable soup with rice and Sundea on side. When we arrived there it was just after lunch time, so we didn't wait for a long time, probably just 10 minutes later we got a table. The decoration here is quite simple which is just like the normal eatery in Korean as my Korean friend said. All the stuffs and most customers are Korean so that you are really in Korean culture. It takes only 15 minutes for us get our food which proves their efficiency. Each meal comes with complimentary banchan (side dishes) as you would normally expect when dining at a Korean eatery.
Their side dished are quite tasty as well except the green chilly because I got a super hot one. My Korean friend said to taste the chilly here just like a bid. Some are very hot, some are not. So interesting!
Here is my main dish
Ox blood soup
The main ingredients in this soup is Ox blood seems like beef blood jelly which is quite similar with the Chinese cuisine I introduced last Saturday. However, its texture is more frigate than Maoxuewang. The soup is a little bit plain so that you have to add some salt and spicy as your own taste. Besides the Ox blood, they have various vegetable inside.
Sundea
Sundea is recommended strongly by my friend. It looks quite similar to sausage but it is made of rice noodles. The texture of Sundea is like jelly and a little bit plain. It comes with sea salt so that when our eat it you could dip some salt. I don't like it very much but if you want to look for something new, it worth trying.
