Max Brenner Chocolate Bar

Have you ever have a craving for a chocolate dessert? If you haven’t tried MAX BRENNER, than you are definitely missing out! Max Brenner Chocolate Bar is one of the best chocolate stores in Australia.

I love going to Max Brenner, from the moment you step inside, you are instantly indulged by the smell of warm chocolate. If you’re thinking of a place to have dessert with some friends after dinner, this is the place to go to!

When we went, we had a Tutti-frutti waffle and a Chocolate Soufflé.

The best way of describing the Tutti-frutti waffles (one/two $14.00/$18.50) is an intense mix of textures and temperatures. The waffles itself is served warm and slightly crunchy along with ice-cream and chilled fruit. When eaten together, a combination of hard and soft textures, hot and cold temperatures plays havoc in your mouth. Add in the rich Max Brenner chocolate sauce to this mix and you’ve got an absolutely wonderful dessert.

Unfortunately, the chocolate soufflé was a bit of a letdown. The piece I received was not runny inside and it was a bit too heavy for me. I prefer soft and fluffy cakes but this was similar to a really thick and heavy chocolate mud cake.

I’m sure many people would agree with me when I say that Max Brenner is an outstanding place for dessert. Just a word of warning though-be prepared to wait for a while on busy nights, they do get extremely busy!

Service: 4/5
Price: 3.5/5 (a bit pricey)
Taste: 5/5
